IABM is set to reveal the latest up-to-date market intelligence from the broadcast and media technologies industry, together with topical debate and discussion at the UK Industry Update Day, to be held on Wednesday 1 July at Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.

IABM is set to reveal the latest market intelligence from the broadcast and media technologies industry, together with topical debate and discussion at the UK Industry Update Day, to be held on Wednesday 1 July at Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London. IABM has partnered with TVBEurope for the first ever Strategy Week, beginning 29 June.

The event represents an opportunity for UK IABM members to come together and access the latest knowledge and news from across the broadcast industry.

The agenda includes a market intelligence update, where the findings from IABM’s recent Industry Trends, benchmark surveys and industry index will be revealed by IABM CEO Peter White. There will also be the latest news on education, and an apprenticeships update from IABM head of training, Steve Warner, and Tim Mahoney of Uxbridge College, as well as a technology update from IABM director of technology and strategic insight, John Ive. Ive will also be supporting and contributing to the first ever TVBEurope 2020 event, as conference chairman.

Part of the event will be dedicated to the AGM, and IABM will also make a key announcement to unveil its new board and chair. A special Q&A Session will be hosted by IABM finance director Lucinda Meek, and delegates will have an exclusive opportunity to pose questions to the new board.

Finally, key representatives from IBC, NAB, Broadcast Asia BVE and UK Trade Fair will come together to form a panel session hosted by IABM head of marketing and chair of the IABM Exhibitor Task Group Lisa Collins.

There will also be a brand new Broadcast and Media Technology Networking event, to take place directly after formal proceedings have concluded at 4pm, where invitation is extended to both non-members and end users.

Lisa Collins, head of marketing, IABM said: “This is set to be one of the busiest Industry Updates yet. The aim was to create an agenda that would be highly informative and relevant for all of the attendees, and hopefully we have achieved that by bringing in news and updates from across the industry. The networking event has been introduced to celebrate our new regional council and more importantly to bring the entire industry together under one roof to meet, network and collaborate.”

The IABM Industry Update Day is free to attend for IABM members. To find out more please visit the IABM website.
