Disguise has announced it is co-hosting an event to promote diversity in the creative industry.
As part of a collaboration with Bluman Associates and the European chapter of Frame:work, the company will be presenting Be Seen. Be Heard in London next month. The half-day event aims to promote diversity and inclusion within the creative video and live events industries, said the company, empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to thrive in the creative community.
Attendees will hear from a range of industry professionals, with the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion titled, ‘Reimagining our industry for the Next Generation.’
The speaker line-up includes speakers from across the industry.
Bluman Associates’ Pod Bluman commented: “The creative video and live events industries have been inclusive in accepting neurodiversity and non-typical individuals, yet there is so much work to do. Whenever I attend any industry event, there is just not enough diversity that there should be. ‘Be Seen. Be Heard’ is designed to build on this foundation, working towards a future workforce that reflects the full diversity of society,”
The event takes place on 9th October at Bluman Associates. Further information can be found here.
