Countdown to Best of Show Awards 2020 Virtual Edition, and IBC Showcase

Awards recognise the outstanding broadcast products and solutions being showcased this summer

As this year’s fully virtual IBC Showcase gets ready to spring to life on 8th September, so too does Future’s annual Best of Show Awards. Typically run during the first three days of IBC at the RAI complex in Amsterdam, the 2020 version is running as a virtual programme to coincide with the Showcase being run between 8th and 11th September.

This year in particular, the awards programme is a great way for broadcast professionals to see all of the key product and technology innovations from around the Showcase in one place, and each participating title will feature the winning entries across their print and digital platforms. A special Best of Show digital supplement will also be distributed across Future’s international audience following the show, featuring all nominated products and solutions.

In addition to the programme, TVBEurope‘s September issue, released next week, contains a special report showcasing the many and various product launches and announcements being made by broadcast providers during September.

Throughout the week of the Showcase and on into September, we will be running special feature-based online content with key figures in the market as we pause for thought on what has been a tumultuous 2020 for all sides of the broadcast community.

There’s plenty going on at TVBEurope this September, and the best way of staying up to date is by signing up to our daily newsletter (if you haven’t already).

Entry process
As ever, the Best of Show awards recognise the outstanding broadcast products and solutions being showcased this summer in four categories: TVBEurope, TV Technology, Pro Sound News (broadcast audio products) and Radio World (radio broadcast products).

All nominations will be reviewed by a panel of independent industry experts. • A high res (300dpi) image of the product

Good luck to all those taking part, and we look forward to bringing our audience all of the latest products, technology, and thought leadership being showcased this September.
