Amazon is reportedly in negotiations to acquire MGM.
It’s long been rumoured that the studio would either sell-off its library to a streamer or be acquired outright.
According to The Information, Amazon is in talks about a potential deal for MGM, which could cost it between $7 billion and $10 billion.
MGM is home to the James Bond franchise, and also makes TV series such as The Handmaid’s Tale and Fargo.
Both parties have declined to comment on the report.
