3DTV training focus at 3D Masters 2011

There’s a burgeoning number of 3D festivals and stereoscopic 3D conferences but none has its focus trained on giving TV producers and broadcasters the take-away knowledge that 3D Masters does.
Backed by the major consumer electronics manufacturers the 3DTV sector makes a lot of noise but its small size can mask a remarkable lack of education about how 3D works technically and what doesn’t work creatively.
In most European countries only one 3D channel, at best, has launched but there are growing distribution opportunities to be tapped for producers targeting IMAX to laptop PC or overseas markets and with increasingly varied genre.

3D Masters encapsulates this with expert-led seminars taking apart the basics of stereo capture, prepping a 3D shoot for multi-screen deliverables and case studies from producers on the practicalities of 3D commercials and documentary projects. All this and an appraisal of what is required to produce episodic 3D TV. 3D Masters is for the television production community.

Register for TVBE’s 3D Masters conference, BAFTA, London, 15 June, 2011
