Nikon has announced it will no longer be participating in NAB 2020 due to coronavirus.
In a statement, the company said: “Nikon’s first priority is always the health and safety of our employees, partners and customers.
“As we continue to closely monitor and gauge the impact of COVID-19, Nikon Inc. and MRMC, a Nikon Group company, have made the decision not to participate in NAB 2020. We will continue to closely evaluate our travel policies, programmes and activities to mitigate risk.”
Nikon is the first of the big camera manufacturers to pull out of the show. Their announcement follows AJA Video’s decision to drop out earlier this week.
NAB says the show is still due to take place 18th-22nd April.
