NAB New York set for ten-day online event

Virtual event adopts long-form model

October’s virtual NAB Show New York will run over a ten-day period, organisers have announced.

The show was confirmed as an online-only event back in June, and the latest announcement details the new long-form model as a format to provide “a longer, more flexible schedule that optimize opportunities for conducting business, networking and peer-to-peer learning.”

That’s according to NAB Conventions EVP, Chris Brown, who also explained that the association is “continuing to evolve the digital event model”, and that October’s offering will feature a marketplace that offers “immersive tours, new product demonstrations, authoritative white papers, and live chats with representatives from exhibiting companies.”

NAB New York is usually co-located with the AES Show, which is still in discussions with the Javits Center venue about hosting its fall convention.

NAB Show New York will take place from 19th to 29th October. More information can be found at the NAB Show New York website.
