Ericsson has finally completed the divestment of its MediaKind business, a year after it was first announced.
One Equity Partners has now become MediaKind’s majority owner, while Ericsson has 49 per cent of the shares following the transaction on 31st January 2019.
Ericsson said the transaction will generate a “positive impact” on operating income in Q1 2019, that with current visibility is estimated to SEK 0.4–0.6 billion.
