TRT World, Turkey’s English-language news channel, has launched globally on Roku.
Viewers can now watch the live TRT World TV stream and latest episodes from popular TV shows, including The Newsmakers, Strait Talk, Showcase, and Roundtable.
TRT World is available on Roku streaming players, Roku Streaming Stick and Roku TV models. It is already available on Apple TV and Opera TV as well as pay-TV providers Sky UK, Canal France and Skylink.
“We strongly believe TRT World will find an audience in the US for international news,” said Rock Pellerin, TRT World’s director of marketing and distribution.
“Roku devices will allow us to connect our unique programming and news coverage to OTT viewers. We are very pleased by the initial traction of the Roku app and will continue to invest in new content and features for the platform.”
