Disney and Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) have agreed an exclusive deal for Disney Plus to be carried by the TIMVision platform.
Launching on 24th March, Disney Plus will be bundled with TIMVision’s fibre broadband packages on an exclusive basis in Italy.
TIM CEO Luigi Gubitosi said the deal would boost “the strategy of TIMVision as Italy’s leading aggregator of premium content in the Italian TV industry.”
Disney direct-to-consumer and international chairman Kevin Mayer added: “We’re delighted to count TIM among our launch partners and look forward to bringing their customers all of the amazing storytelling available.”
The announcement follows confirmation that Sky will carry Disney Plus on its Sky Q platform in the UK.
