Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) is launching an OTT platform in partnership with Hungama Digital Media Entertainment and Evoke International.
The service, which will reportedly be the first of its kind in Sri Lanka, will offer Hollywood, Bollywood, Tamil, Sinhala and Theligu content.
“Our customers are already experiencing world class personalised television entertainment through our PEO TV service,” said Dileepa Wijesundera, group CEO at SLT.
“Through this important partnership with Hungama, we wish to add more value to our customers and provide them with high quality, world class entertainment content at their fingertips.
“We are certain that this will totally redefine their entertainment experience.”
The service will initially be available to SLT broadband users before an expansion to the PEO TV set-top box and Mobitel, as well as developing a mobile app.
