Sky is aiming to take on the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix in Switzerland with the launch of new streaming service, Sky Show.
The new service launches today with over 60 TV series and 500 feature films and documentaries available to stream. Sky says content will be updated weekly and all titles are available in the original version as well as German.
Similar to NOW TV in the UK, Sky Show is available without a contract and costs CHF 14.90 per month.
It is available via tablet and iOS/Android smartphones, as well as through Chromecast and AirPlay. Sky says they expect to launch it on Smart TVs, Apple TV, Sony PlayStation and other partners soon.
