Perform Group is set to launch a multiscreen OTT subscription service throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland this summer.
Dazn will deliver a range of sports including European football, NBA, NFL, tennis and darts live and on-demand for a monthly fee.
Perform, based in the UK, recently acquired web video rights of the Bundesliga, which are expected to become the service’s flagship offering.
From the 2017/18 season, Dazn will screen the highlights of all games of the first and second division Bundesliga within 40 minutes of the final whistle.
The service will also provide live matches of further European leagues including the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Dazn will be accessible on all internet-capable screens, and available in HD with Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound. Selected content will be provided in 4K.
