Oculus introduces new virtual reality TV channel

Oculus TV lets users access shows from a variety of networks in VR

Oculus has announced the launch of its new Oculus TV channel.

Oculus TV enables users to access programmes from a number of networks including Hulu, Showtime, MLB Live games and more.

The service, which is available to users of the Oculus Go VR headset, also provides access to esports via Facebook’s Watch video service, as well as content from Pluto TV, Red Bull TV and Newsy, with “fan favourites” from ESPN to be added soon.

The company claims that the viewing experience on its new TV network for Oculus Go is equivalent to a 180-inch TV screen.

The Oculus TV app can be downloaded from the Oculus Store for free.
