Viacom has launched Nick+ on Greek pay-TV platform Cosmote TV.
Subscribers will have access to over 400 hours of Nickelodeon content across streaming devices, including PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer.
The move continues Viacom’s multi-platform distribution strategy across Europe and Africa, following the launch of MTV+ on Amazon Prime Video in Germany and Austria, and Nickelodeon’s Vodafone SVoD deal in Turkey.
“Nickelodeon is one of the leading kids brands in Greece reaching thousands of families daily across all platforms, and we’re happy to partner with Cosmote TV to continue engaging even more local fans,” said David Urgell, senior VP strategy, content distribution and digital for Viacom International Media Networks’ Southern and Western Europe, Middle East and Africa.
“Partnering with the country’s top pay-TV platform is an important step forward for our strategy in Greece, where our multi-platform distribution has increased significantly in the last year,” he added.
