Netflix will more than double its subscriber numbers over the next decade according to Credit Suisse.
In a note to investors, the analysts cited their own proprietary methodology which seeks to calculate the futures fundamentals of a company that its shares’ current valuation implies. It said the market is currently “embedding” eight per cent long-term growth. “The market is embedding that Netflix will achieve 335 million subscribers by 2028,” said the note.
Netflix currently has just over 148 million subscribers worldwide.
Credit Suisse also said the market is implying that Netflix will capture 42 per cent of all global broadband households, excluding China.
