Mobile accounted for a quarter of all DAZN streaming in 2019

DAZN saw more than a half billion hours streamed in 2019

Sports streaming service DAZN has revealed mobile accounted for 26 per cent of consumption of its content during 2019.

Overall, DAZN saw more than a half billion hours streamed (507 million), an increase of 98 per cent from the 256 million hours streamed in 2018.

Mobile topped the list of devices for streaming, followed by set-top box/streaming sticks at 23 per cent, Smart TVs at 21 per cent, desktop at 17 per cent, and games consoles at 13 per cent.

Overall DAZN viewers consumed over 314.6 million hours of football content in 2019, followed by baseball at 38.1 million hours.

According to DAZN, its biggest event of 2019 was the rematch between heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz Jr., followed by Liverpool’s win over Tottenham in the Champions League final with the Reds’ epic comeback against Barcelona in the semi-final in third.
