German streaming service Joyn has launched a new subscription version, Joyn Plus.
The new SVoD is due to launch in December at an initial cost of €3.99 per month, which will rise to €6.99 after three months, making it cheaper than Netflix.
Joyn Plus will offer subscribers 61 TV channels including ProSieben FUN, SAT.1 emotions, Cable One CLASSICS, Eurosport 2, Discovery Channel and Animal Planet, as well as original content.
The AVoD version of Joyn launched in June and currently has two million users per month.
