German streaming service Joyn is expected to be rolled out to international audiences.
Speaking at Mipcom, ProSiebenSat.1 CEO Max Conze said there are plans to launch the service to international audiences, but the current focus is on “one step at a time.”
“I wouldn’t want to say when, where, or how, but will Joyn [launch in] more than Germany? I am 100 per cent certain yes,” he said.
Joyn is a joint venture between ProSiebenSat.1 and Discovery.
Conze also revealed plans to launch a premium tier to the streamer in Germany next year.
