Deutsche Telekom is partnering with Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa to launch new on-demand service Fox+ in Germany next month.
The new platform will be available free of charge on Deutsche Telekom’s EntertainTV service from October 4th and will carry full seasons of shows from 20th Century Fox Television, fox21 television studios and FNG Global.
Fox+ will be available on TV, mobile and tablet devices as well as over the internet.
The service launch with shows including The Walking Dead, Empire, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother.
Marco de Ruiter, managing director of Fox Networks Group Germany, said: “Our strategy is to bring the best content over as many channels as possible to the viewers – when, how and where they want. With the new offer Fox+, the customers of Deutsche Telekom, our first partner in Germany, have full flexibility to access the great and extensive series content of the 21st Century Fox Studios on demand.”
