Facebook is testing a new service which allows content creators to upload pre-recorded videos as a live moment.
Facebook Premieres is thought to be aimed at content like film trailers, Facebook Watch shows, and music videos, and could include a chat function.
It means Facebook users would be able to experience a new video together in real time.
Facebook confirmed to The Verge that Premieres will allow for pre-made videos to be natively uploaded and released as live moments.
A spokesman said the social media behemoth is planning to roll out the service more widely “soon.”
