Disney+ could spell trouble for Netflix

23 per cent would leave Netflix if Disney films and shows were removed

A survey from Geek.com has found that 23 per cent of respondents would quit Netflix if all Disney films and shows left the platform.

In the 18-24 age bracket, 28 per cent said they would cancel their Netflix subscriptions if Disney content was removed. This figure was 26 per cent for the 65+ demographic, and 20-22 per cent for 25-64 year olds.

The survey also found that 55 per cent would pay no more than $11.99 for Netflix, and 24 per cent say $14.99 is their maximum. Meanwhile 11 per cent would pay any amount for Netflix.

Geek.com surveyed 1,500 US adults in February 2019.
