BT could carry Disney Plus

BT TV positioning itself a streaming 'super aggregator'

BT is reportedly in talks to carry Disney Plus on its BT TV platform, according to the Sunday Times.

Marc Allera, head of BT’s consumer division, revealed that the telco is in talks with Disney and other providers ahead of the streaming service’s UK launch in March 2020.

The report follows the news that BT has added Amazon Prime Video to its offering, making Disney Plus a valuable asset in BT TV’s positioning as a streaming ‘super aggregator’.

BT also sells Apple’s set-top box through a partnership with EE, suggesting the possibility of Apple TV+ additionally being made available on BT TV.
