British talent wins half of 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards

Brits win 13 of the 27 awards

British talent came out the big winner as the 2019 Primetime Emmy Awards as half of the awards went to British actors or British-produced series.

Brits were involved in 13 of the 27 awards including Fleabag, Chernobyl, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Succession, Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, A Very English Scandal and Game of Thrones.

HBO was the biggest winner in terms of channels/streaming services with 34 wins including the Creative Arts Emmys, followed by Netflix with 27 and Amazon with 15.

Game of Thrones topped the list in terms of most awards per show with 12, followed by Chernobyl with 10 and The Marvelous Mrs Maisel with eight.
