Amazon Channels adds two more

PBS America On Demand and Stingray Classica have been added to Amazon Channels’ UK line-up.

Both channel subscriptions will be available for Prime members to access via their existing Prime Video app and are available on smart TVs, iOs and Android mobile devices, Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and Fire tablets and games consoles and through the web.

The new, ad-free service from PBS America includes the best of the channel’s programming. Since launching in the UK, PBS America has carved out a niche in quality factual programming, including the multi-award-winning Nova, Frontline and American Experience strands.

Stingray Classica is Amazon Channels’ first purely classical music subscription, allowing Prime members to sign up to a range of full-length ballets, operas and classical concerts including chamber music and music for worship.

Amazon Channels launched in the UK in May. Among the channels available are BFI Player+, Eurosport Player, Discovery, ITV Hub+, hayu, Ketchup TV, MGM, MUBI and Shudder.
