Netherlands-based 4K UHD broadcaster and producer Insight TV has selected Technicolor’s Advanced HDR solution to cross convert its existing UHD content library.
According to Insight TV technical director Gavin Ho the technologies were chosen to meet its clients’ technical requirements, while ensuring the highest possible quality of its content in SDR and HDR, UHD and HD.
The conversion and distribution technologies, which comprise of Technicolour HDR and Technicolor HDR Intelligent Tone Management solutions, were chosen by the broadcaster after several comparison tests.
“We looked at a number of conversion tools and found that Technicolor solutions suited all of our needs,” Ho added.
