Sweden’s largest cable operator Com Hem has launched a new Android TV UHD-4K Hybrid set-top box, powered by 3 Screen Solutions.
The STB employs 3SS’s 3READY Android TV Client with custom launcher.
Com Hem has developed both the hardware and the user interface software together with partners such as Google, Technicolor and 3SS.
3READY enables users to incorporate and customise content configuration, user features and branding.

3SS engineered 3READY to have a high level of automation, including the ability to perform systematic A/B testing. Com Hem also took advantage of 3READY’s A/B testing, combined with usability testing, to fine-tune its new EPG based on direct feedback from a sample group of subscribers.
