Amazon Echo is now able to pair with Fire TVs to offer hands-free control of the consumer’s television.
Available today, the far-field voice control capability allows users to play a film, launch an app, control playback or show live video from compatible smart home cameras, without having to speak into their Fire TV remote controls.
Users can also ask Alexa to search by title, actor or genre, control video playback and launch apps, as well as start apps or popular content available on Fire TV such as Amazon Video, Netflix, UKTV and more.
