TVU Networks has signed a distributorship agreement with German broadcast equipment and systems house Wellen+Noethen, making it the exclusive supplier for the TVU product range in Germany. With this partnership the company aims to expand its product offering in the video-over-IP segment, as well as IP-based remote productions.
From now on, Wellen+Noethen will provide its customers with the entire product portfolio of TVU Networks. This includes its TVUPack, a portable ENG solution that enables broadcasters to capture live interviews and events and broadcast them in HD over multiple 3G/4G cellular wireless networks, WiFi, WiMax or BGAN.
Wellen+Noethen will also offer its customers the TVUGrid digital routing and switching platform, which enables the user to transmit the signals of the TVUPack as well as share live video streams between third-party sources, such as YouTube videos or VTRs.

In additional to distribution of products, Wellen+Noethen also plans to offer pre-configured TVU sets on a rental basis.
