Following the successful delivery of the transmission services for the 31 matches of UEFA EURO 2012, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and Eurovision have partnered for live, global audiovisual transmission services. Under the multiyear contract, all audiovisual UEFA programmes will be distributed around the world exclusively on the Eurovision satellite and fibre network. This includes all UEFA Champions League and UEFA EUROPA League matches for the 2012 to 2015 cycle, and the national team matches of the European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2016 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
