MediaPower has helped Italian Roman-Catholic broadcasting network TV2000 create a digital newsroom envrionment. MediaPower implemented a suite of tools included Dalet MAM, Dalet Media Life, and Dalet Brio.
The Dalet systems, running on HP server infrastructure, feature programs and interfaces designed to allow journalists and technical operators to streamline the planning, ingest, broadcast playout, content edit, and news production process.
MediaPower also provided TV2000 a NetApp FAS6020 that serves as a scalable, high-bandwidth, centralised enterprise storage system for all production and playout content, and a Front Porch Digital Archive, consisting of Front Porch Digital DIVA Software + Oracle SL150 Tape Library. The entire application and hardware infrastructure system allowed TV2000 to create an environment consisting of newscasts and live productions from three broadcast studios.
“Nothing could be more exciting than helping TV2000 improve their content delivery capabilities and reach by providing and integrating industry-leading systems for their news production workflow,” said Marcello Dellepiane of MediaPower. “We hope to continue our streak in helping future-proof their infrastructure not just in producing and delivering high quality content to their viewers, but also in archiving and repurposing content for other platforms.”
