TTC Ostankino upgrades studios with Grass Valley

Television Technical Center Ostankino, the Russian broadcast production company, will offer HD capabilities to its broadcast clients and partners, following the upgrade of 11 studios with Grass Valley camera and switcher solutions.

Television Technical Center Ostankino, the Russian broadcast production company, will offer HD capabilities to its broadcast clients and partners, following the upgrade of 11 studios with Grass Valley camera and switcher solutions. This two-year project, being run by systems integrator OKNO TV in partnership with Grass Valley, includes the installation of 100 LDK 8000 Elite 3G Transmission triax camera systems and two Karrera 3 M/E Video Production Center switchers (pictured). The first phase of the project will see the installation of 24 LDK 8000 Elite cameras, associated 3G triax base stations, and both Karrera switcher systems. “We are a leading innovation-driven corporation and are constantly developing our technologies.
