Technology and Production Center Switzerland AG (tpc) has built a value-added service incorporating Signiant Media Manager. The Signiant solution allows tpc to support the live production workflows of its broadcasting clients with a secure, managed system for transferring digital media.
tpc selected Signiant as a means of accelerating post-production workflows for its primary client, SRF (Swiss Radio and Television), the Swiss national public radio and television broadcaster. Installed at tpc’s headquarters in Zürich and key client locations, Signiant Manager Agents use exclusive content peering technology to enable automated transfers of large batches of files and to handle the authentication, authorisation and encryption steps necessary to ensure secure delivery. In a typical workflow, the client transfers raw video files to tpc for editing and final production.
