A new multi-camera HD studio facility has been opened in central London by Trickbox TV, the studio installation and location services provider, and London & Partners, the official promotional organisation for the capital. Tower Bridge TV Studios, situated on the banks of the Thames, is fully equipped for HD production. The studio facility’s IT services are provided by technology partner Easynet Global Services.

The new facility sits within London & Partners’ offices, offering a suitable location for broadcast, corporate or commercial productions in need of a London-centric backdrop as well as HD production services. Trickbox TV’s headquarters is also on the same floor, ensuring the team is on hand at all times for technical assistance.

The studio is equipped with full HD multi-camera capability, a fully saturated lighting grid, a production/gallery control room, a chroma key blue-screen wall, and floor to ceiling windows with removable neutral density (0.9 ND). Trickbox TV can also offer Final Cut Pro editing services, and green rooms and meeting rooms are available.

“Trickbox TV has been providing equipment, crew and support for studio installations and multi-camera location productions for three years, and our staff have many years of accumulated broadcast experience,” said Liam Laminman, MD, Trickbox TV. “Our expertise, combined with this amazing view, means we can provide all the equipment and technical support required for any type of production.”

Oliver Leeds, commercial director for London & Partners, added: “We are thrilled to launch Tower Bridge TV Studios and be able to open up these stunning views of London to broadcasters and production companies alike. This self-contained studio offers a first class facility combined with a backdrop that spans Canary Wharf, Tower Bridge and of course the historic Tower of London.”
