Post production house Suite TV will be the first in the UK to order Avid ISIS 2500 high-performance nearline storage. The new system, designed to complement the manufacturer’s ISIS online storage, will be installed by re-seller root6 at Suite’s Newman Street facility this month.
Rick Halsall, technical director of Suite TV said, “With the number of fast turnaround TV shows we work on, it’s important to have all the online material on our ISIS 5000 backed up in a way that’s easily and quickly accessible. The addition of ISIS 2500 provides us and our clients with readily available content that can be delivered as quickly as needed.”
Suite TV offers full service post production from editing through grading, transfers, audio and duplication. Over the years, the facility has been responsible for posting shows such as The Office, The IT Crowd, and The Inbetweeners. The current fast turnaround shows that will benefit from the addition of ISIS 2500 include Celebrity Juice, Sweat the Small Stuff and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
