In a further expansion of Studiotech Belgium’s long-established presence in the African market, the company has undertaken the supply, installation and commissioning of a high-spec news studio with server-based NLE system for Chad Television (ONRTV).
Studiotech Belgium – which has customers in Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya and many other African territories – also provided on-site training for the project.
The new CFA 1,491,000,000 franc (approximately 2.4 m euros) studio has already been graced by a visit from Idriss Deby Itno (pictured here dressed in white attire), the president of the Republic of Chad, who is reported to have expressed his ‘complete satisfaction’ with Studiotech Belgium’s work.
Studiotech Belgium engineers were able to receive their congratulations in person during the well-publicised visit, which took place on 10 May.
