Steve Mackey, vice president at Spectra Logic, will be presenting a case study at this year’s IT Broadcast Workflow conference, which is returning for its fifth year to BAFTA on 9 July.
The case study presentation – Asset digitisation and archives: Looking ahead – will focus on a conversion of 150,000 video tapes to digital and will detail cost savings and service improvements. Following this will be a comparison of digital storage media available today and their relative practical application in digital asset archives.
At Spectra Logic Mackey holds responsibility for all 15 businesses in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. He has over 15 years’ experience in the storage industry and has held a number of business, product marketing and sales management positions with companies DEC, Grau, ADIC and Quantum.
