ITV regional news studios in Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, Norwich, Cardiff and Jersey/Guernsey have adopted Clear-Com’s digital communications solutions as part of a major HD restructure.
The System Integrator IPE has designed a template system, featuring the Eclipse HX-Delta digital matrix platform with V-Series rotary control panels, MVX and MADI cards, which is now being used by the six studios.
The Eclipse HX-Delta digital matrix platform is described as being unique in its ability to integrate with IP-based software intercoms for remote users on virtual panels, and can trunk over CAT5, POTS, IP, Fibre and MADI without compromising in audio quality and performance.
