Disney Channels Benelux has selected KPN Broadcast Services and SGT Vivesta to provide an end-to-end solution for traffic and scheduling, MAM and playout services.
The announcement represents a further continuation of the long-term partnership between Disney, KPN Broadcast Services. The relationship commenced in 2006 with the launch of one national channel, since when Disney has grown to encompass four channels in the Netherlands and Belgium, with additional services to cable VOD platforms.
With the MediaFlow Business MAM product and VEDA Automation product, SGT Vivesta will enable Disney to centralise all business and MAM operations for multiple outlets in a single web-based system. The result, says Vivesta, will be improved operational flexibility and efficiency, as well as the maintenance of solid and scalable transmission processes.
