RT Software has announced a new release of its popular tOG-Sports telestrator, now available from Grass Valley as an added option on the Grass Valley K2 Dyno S Replay Controller.
The tOG-Sports integration with the K2 Dyno provides replay operators with a telestration tool on the K2 Dyno S touchscreen interface. Replay operators can provide content to viewers using split screens, key frame tracking zoom, spot zoom, as well as other illustration tools including traditional lines, circles and shaded regions.
“As soon as we saw the touchscreen on the K2 Dyno, we knew it would be innovative to put our tOG-Sports telestration tools there,” remarked Mike Fredriksen, commercial director, RT Software. “The end result, which puts the telestration capabilities and preview on the K2 Dyno interface, is extremely satisfying – there is nothing else like it in the marketplace.”
The application runs on a 1RU graphics server, and once set up the graphics operator interface is on the K2 Dyno touchscreen, meaning the system is suitable for use in OB trucks or anywhere space is limited.
Mike Cronk, senior vice president, marketing, Grass Valley, commented: “With the new optional tOG-Sports capabilities, the K2 Dyno S is the only replay system on the market that allows operators to manage effects right on the touchscreen as opposed to having to move from computer to replay system. This results in a huge time savings for operators.”
