Radio France integrates advertising with PCI

Radio France has chosen Cindy, the airtime and sales management system from Proconsultant Informatique to manage its advertising. As well as handling Radio France’s national stations it will also be used for France Bleu, the network of 43 local and regional stations that include blocks of national content. “We had precise requirements to replace an outdated in-house system, and we judged Cindy to be the best in class, said Pascal Girodias, director of advertising sales at Radio France. “We looked for a proven system that could handle everything from campaign planning and scheduling to as-run reconciliation, enhanced reporting and invoicing. “Cindy is also an open system, and this was very important for us as it will be at the heart of our core IT infrastructure,” he added. “It will be integrated with our primary broadcast systems as well as our business and financial systems. It is a product that continues to evolve, so we are confident that it will provide us with a state of the art tool in the long run.” Cindy is an integrated realtime system for sales management for multiple broadcasting outlets, and includes optional modules to manage advertising on non-linear platforms. It includes tools for campaign planning, inventory scheduling, spot optimisation and invoicing. The installation at Radio France is already under way. The complete system is expected to be fully operational early in the first quarter of 2013.
