Prime Focus has been awarded the contract to provide on-site editing, captioning and audio services to Red Bee Media to support its creative work for clients including the BBC and UKTV. From 1 August 2012 the Broadcast division of the global visual entertainment services group will create a new facility located at Red Bee Media’s Broadcast Centre in West London, operating 11 suites run by a dedicated Prime Focus team. As part of the agreement, Prime Focus will become a creative and technical partner to Red Bee Media. They will provide Smoke, Media Composer, Pro Tools and captioning suites to finish around 5,000 promotional items each year. As a pioneer of tapeless workflows, Prime Focus will operate bespoke tapeless post production solutions to increase further Red Bee Media’s operational efficiencies.
