Post house The Farm announces new leadership team

Adam Morris has been named the company's new technical director, overseeing all technical, IT and engineering functions at The Farm across the UK

The Farm has announced the appointment of a new leadership team following its acquisition by Streamland Media.

Séamus MacCormaic, previously chief financial officer of The Farm, has been named executive vice president and managing director of Streamland Media-United Kingdom, reporting into the Streamland Media CEO Bill Romeo.

“It is a privilege to lead The Farm at this time of transition alongside an amazingly strong, dedicated, and talented team,” said MacCormaic“We are excited to be growing, winning big contracts, and diversifying our revenues. We are looking forward to the future with a great deal of optimism.”

The Farm co-founders Nicky Sargent and Vikki Dunn join Streamland Media’s board.

Adam Morris has been named the company’s new technical director, overseeing all technical, IT and engineering functions at The Farm across the UK, as well as helping steer technology decisions across the wider Streamland Media group.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to help lead technology for both The Farm and Streamland,” said Morris. “The lines for technology in post have never been more blurred. Facility-based and remote working, traditional kit and cloud, and all the workflow and security challenges make navigating this technology space a real challenge and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

Paul Austin, previously managing director for The Farm Manchester, has been promoted to managing director of Unscripted. Chris Chalmers, head of partnerships, oversees The Farm’s managed service contracts (MSC), working with broadcasters across multiple projects from The Farm and client locations. Chris Swan joins the company as director of projects and innovation.
