Post house Harbor rolls out FilmLight’s Nara across global footprint

Nara provides Harbor's teams with real-time visibility into media storage and metadata, enabling instant validation of file paths, rapid identification of assets, and integrated quality control

Post production house Harbor Picture Company has integrated FilmLight’s Nara across its London, Los Angeles and New York facilities to give producers, colourists, conform artists and engineering teams faster access to media, and support real-time collaboration.

Nara provides Harbor’s teams with real-time visibility into media storage and metadata, enabling instant validation of file paths, rapid identification of assets, and integrated quality control on elements such as colour space, framing, versions, and titles, said FilmLight.

By integrating Nara, Harbor is also future-proofing its pipeline with tools designed to scale alongside the evolving demands of filmmakers, studios, and brands.

“Harbor has always been defined by our ability to connect artists and workflows seamlessly across genres and geographies,” said Massimo D’Avolio, EVP, head of post production, Harbor. “Integrating Nara further strengthens that promise.

“It allows us to move with even greater speed and precision, while giving our clients the confidence that wherever they engage with Harbor, they will experience the same level of excellence and access to world-class talent.”
