Pixipixel rental fleet goes under the hammer

Lots will include cameras, lenses, and lighting from the company which closed its doors last month

Following the recent closure of the London-based equipment rental business PixiPixel, the company’s administrators have appointed SIA Group to realise the company’s assets.

“Pixipixel Rental Limited has been a key player in providing specialist equipment rental to film, television and commercial production companies. We are working hard to ensure creditors achieve the best possible recovery,” said Andrew Hook, partner at Begbies Traynor (Central) LLP, PixiPixel’s administrators.

The global online auction will provide opportunities for businesses and individuals to acquire high-quality cameras, lenses, grips, and lighting equipment assets at competitive prices, said SIA Group.

The administrators added they are working closely with Pixipixel employees and stakeholders to ensure that they are supported throughout this process.

Meanwhile, Hickman Shearer is conducting a separate sale of a number of vehicles previously owned by PixiPixel.
