The move eliminates ingest time to the edit system as the P2 cards are instantly accessible; there are no moving heads, discs or tape transport, and recording starts instantly. The cards can be ‘hot swapped’ for continuous recording. The P2 cards can be reviewed instantly on a PC, in the camera, or a card reader.

Shooting Partners have successfully used the P2 system on its productions over the last two years, including work for IBC TV News. The P2 kits join Shooting Partners’ stock of mini cams, DVCAM, Digi-beta, and HDCAM kits.

Shooting Partners Group comprises SP Facilities, SP Project Management and sister company Anna Valley Displays.

They offer a comprehensive range of Broadcast equipment, for hire. backed by extensive experience across the entire Broadcast and AV field.
