Orad’s powerful and flexible 3DWeather software is helping drive the content for Hungary’s OzoneNetwork TV, the region’s first weather channel.
With Orad’s 3DWeather, the channel will be able to create realistic 2D and 3D representations of weather forecasts that can be presented on 2D and 3D maps in realtime. Once the weather elements are created, Orad’s 3DPlay manages and populates the graphics with data provided by ICI, Hungary’s weather provider. With 3DPlay, the station is able to manage the large amounts of data and maps and make ad hoc changes moments before going on air.
The entire weather show is broadcasted out of Orad’s virtual studio, which relies on Xync infrared tracking combined with Vinten’s advanced robotic head. The virtual studio will be used to broadcast the new weather show, as well as other lifestyle magazine shows on owner Origo’s other new channel, LifeNetwork.
