Oxygen DCT has launched a new 1RU quad split multiviewer to provide multiviewer functionality at a quad split price. The Oozie combines 4-channel multiviewer functionalities into a compact box and is aimed at broadcast studios, video walls, flyaways, outside broadcast and other professional video applications. The Oozie is equipped with four channels of auto sensing 3G/HD/SD‐SDI and analogue inputs, as well as one HDMI input and both HDMI and HD-SDI outputs. It has 10‐bit digital processing technology and 3D comb filtering with high quality de‐interlacing, which benefits analogue PAL or NTSC video as well as all HD-SDI formats up to 1080p/60. The product offers eight analogue audio inputs and four analogue audio outputs, as well as four audio de-embedders that enable eight channels audio metering for each HD-SDI input. Multiviewer capabilities include pre-set user screen layouts, audio de-embedding, audio metering, waveform/vector display, timecode, markers, signal status, text, UMD and more. The integrated advanced alarm functions, addressable via SNMP, deliver realtime monitoring for video loss, freeze frame, black field, audio loss, and audio overloaded or over low. This 1RU box is a half rack wide and has an optional rack kit allowing two to be combined in a 1RU, 19-inch rack. The front buttons give fingertip control and network connectivity offers remote control and configuration.10.B44
