SATIS, SIEL and Le RADIO are uniting to create an event that is being billed as representing the largest offer of goods and services ever dedicated to the audiovisual, live entertainment, events, and radio broadcasting sectors. SATIS, SIEL and Le RADIO are joining together from 20 – 23 October 2008 at Paris Expo-Porte de Versailles, in an exhibition covering 30,000 square metres of showfloor.

Right from day one, SATIS (the Show for Audiovisual Technologies and Solutions) emerged as a privileged venue for presenting technological innovations in the fields of picture and sound. For 25 years, SATIS has been meeting its objectives by positioning itself as a solutions show entirely for professionals working in the different sectors of the audiovisual industry: audio, broadcasting, business solutions, cinema, multimedia, and production.

SIEL for its part has, since its launch in 1983, continually sought to bring together those working in the live entertainment and events industries. Changes in the market have altered what the show exhibits and in 1997 the event was broadened by the creation of an area dedicated entirely to Pro Audio. The show has consequently become the unique gathering for professionals in this market and the sectors that form it: lighting, image, stage equipment, and audio.

Lastly, Le RADIO! (Rendez-vous Annuel des D_cideurs Ind_pendants des Ondes) the annual event for independent decision-makers of the airwaves), a show co-organised with SIEL, has been bringing together since 2003 all those working in radio to this show based around broadcasting technologies and media convergence. This successful event has registered an increasing number of exhibitors and trade visitors each year.

These three shows today constitute the largest, most important platforms for information, contacts and business for all those working in the live entertainment and professional audiovisual industries. SIEL/SATIS/RADIO are giving concrete expression to media convergence by proposing a market mix and technology mix. The merging of these three leading shows not only offers a broader more comprehensive overview of these complementary markets and professions.
