HONOR has introduced its new mobile phone, which includes ARRI Colour Science technology.
The two companies announced their partnership earlier this year with the aim of raising content creators’ standards to cinematic levels.
The Robot Phone combines HONOR’s mobile imaging, AI, and robotic camera technologies with ARRI LogC3, ARRI Wide Gamut 3, and ARRI Looks.
A Titanium Agile Gimbal supports stabilised movement, subject tracking, and hands-free operation, said the companies, while the ARRI technologies provide a consistent foundation for image capture and creative finishing.
The phone supports 10-bit ARRI LogC3 recording to retain more highlight, shadow, and colour information for post production, added the companies. ARRI Wide Gamut 3 provides a broad colour space, while the selection of ARRI Looks offers distinct visual styles at the touch of the screen, they added.

This gives more creators access to greater creative control and a stronger connection between capture and post production.”
The HONOR Robot Phone is initially available in China.
